Prevention is better than cure. DO bring your pet in for an annual exam, especially as they get older. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems.

Pet Medical Library
Have some pet health questions? Want to research a particular condition or behavior? Visit the Veterinary Partner Pet Health Library for answers.

Neuter/Spay
Five million dogs and cats are euthanized in animal shelters each year in the United States. FIVE MILLION. That’s an awful lot of dogs and cats. That’s an awful shame.

At LABAH we are big neuter/spay advocates. We love dogs and cats and it breaks our hearts to know there are so many pet deaths that could - and should - be prevented.

We recommend spaying females and neutering males at four to six months of age. There are many advantages to having your pet spayed or neutered. Click here for some very good reasons.

Dental Care
Regular dental checkups and maintenance are just as important for your pet as they are for you. Apart from smelly breath, poor pet dental hygiene can lead to pain and sickness for your precious four legged pal.

Remember to ask us about professional dental cleanings for the health of your pet and information on how you can continue that care at home.

Vaccination schedule& Good Health Recommendations
These are our very own – LABAH – vaccination schedules and recommendations for a healthy happy pet. They are a combination of what’s dictated by immunologists and required by law, combined with what we believe is necessary for outstanding pet health. There are some vaccinations that we do not recommend, either at all or for the type of lifestyle your pet leads, and we give our opinion on those here as well.
