With a few clicks and a quick Google you can find information and products online for most anything these days. But is that information or that product good, or smart, or relevant?

To take some of the guesswork out and in keeping with our philosophy that we exist for the best interests of your pet, we have compiled a list of links to information we trust and products/services we recommend.

– a humane alternative to declawing. Developed by a Veterinarian, Soft Paws are vinyl caps that fit over your cats claws. Safe and non-toxic.

Town Lake Animal Center: This is the largest animal shelter in Central Texas, housing a huge number of lost or abandoned pets each year. Want a dog? A cat? Adopt. Adopt. Adopt. T: 512-972-6045

Austin Humane Society: The city’s largest no-kill, non-profit pet adoption center. Adopt. Adopt! T: 512-837-7985

Wildlife Rescue

Austin Wildlife Rescue: Information online about what to do during close encounters with wildlife plus a 24 hour hotline for those midnight rescues. T: 512-472-9453

The Bill Hicks Foundation: A not-for-profit  network of volunteers who specialize in mammals and marsupials.  T:512-468-2997

Austin Zoo: The Austin Zoo is a rescue zoo and provides sanctuary to displaced animals from a variety of unfortunate and often neglectful situations. T: 512-288-1490
